Women of God, Mother, Spiritual mother, Wife, First Lady, Spiritual advisor and Psalmist sister Matthews got her start in ministry back in 1991 with her husband Bishop Matthews. Everywhere her husband went to minister she was there by his side to minister in song. She is also an anointed teacher of the Word of God with a central message of "walking in love towards all men". Sister Matthews understands the enormous sacrifice in being married to a man of God. Over the last 18 years she has been the back bone to her household and ministry. Her husband often says that without her he would not have come this far, God has truly used her as a balance and a true voice of reason.Sister Matthews studied the Word of God under the Deliverance association, teaches the Word of God, functions as an anointed psalmist, praise and worship team director, holds an associates degree in early childhood development from Tidewater Community College, has managerial experience in running her own daycare, has over 19 years in working with children, over 8 years teaching in the Portsmouth, Va. school system, and First Lady.
Sister Matthews is always a comfort to others, a beautiful face, a beautiful smile, a beautiful spirit and big beautiful heart that loves everyone. Sister Cathy Matthews currently resides in the beautiful city of Portsmouth, Va. with her husband Charles Matthews and two sons Charles Matthews Jr. 21 and Aaron Matthews 16.
